OPD means out patient department.Here the patient visit the outdoor room, consult with the doctor for his/ her problem,take the medicine prescribed by the doctor and go back.But if the doctor feels that the outdoor patient requires admission and needs indoor treatment then the patient is kept in the ward.Medical services of the outdoor patient are provided in the THQ Hospital Noorpur Thal from 0800 hrs to 2000 hrs are following. THQ Noorpur thal now applies its experience to enhance the delivery of psychiatric treatment. Our outpatient services program provides: psychiatric evaluation, individual therapy, medication management and psychiatric consultation. Appointments may be scheduled online or with the Outpatient Services Coordinator at Shanti Nursing Home Registration counter. Patient is first brought to the emergency where new patient registration is done. Patient is prima facie evaluated by emergency Medical Officer and then referred to the Consultant Psychiatrist. Once the hospitalization of the patient is confirmed, the relative of the patient has to fulfill certain formalities related to the admission.
