The Procurement Department is the entity within both Authorities authorized to issue Invitations to Bid, Requests for Proposal, and Requests for Quotation and issue contracts. The Procurement Department issues purchase orders, develops term contracts, and acquires supplies and services in order to provide the better facilities to patients of the area and the communities of the beyond. There is a Procurement officer and a purchasing committee comprising of the head of the department, Logistics officer, HR & Legal officer and the Medical Superintendent of the hospital. They all help make a reasonable deal.
Aims and Objectives
- Procurement of all kinds of general/medical idems for hospital
- P&SHD for procurements being conducted
- Any other function assigned by AMS HR& Finance /MS/P&SHD
